Parveen Shakir (پروین شاکر ) was a famous Pakistani Urdu poet. When it comes to Urdu Shayari she is the most popular female poet. Her poetry is read and appreciated by people all around the world.
She was born on 25 November and died on 26 Dec 1994. She was honored with Pride of Performance award for her incredible contribution to Urdu literature.
